After a week of travelling in Norway, we reached what was our original plan. We had just found so many interesting ideas along the way, and had travelled much further north than planned.
But now we were at Preikestolen, The Pulpit Rock.
A short and easy walk of a little less than 2 hours through a green landscape that didn’t reveal the least of what we were going to arrive at: These spectacular views, 604 meters above the Lysefjord.
Our suggestion is to start as late as possible, around 4pm, when other visitors are on their way back.
Like this, we got the place practically for ourselves between 6 and 7 pm.
